Tab Trade - What Traders Should Know

The Broker — What It Is

Tab Trade launched in Q1 2026. Online broker registered in Saint Lucia, licensed through the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, the well-known broker.

That last detail tells you something. It means the leadership is not figuring it out from scratch. That is not a guarantee. But more reassuring than someone with no brokerage experience.

The broker opened with Equinix data centre access in London. Same facilities banks and hedge funds use. The typical new launch starts with a white-label MT4 setup. Tab Trade led with infrastructure. Interesting choice.

The instrument list: FX, stock indices, gold, silver, commodities, equities, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. A wide spread. For a broker that is a few months old, the breadth is not narrow.

The Software

You get: MT5, cTrader, and a browser platform. Two major platforms from a single account. Most brokers commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Having both is useful. Use whichever you prefer.

MT5 is the industry standard. Full charting, EAs, massive community. If you have used MT4 or MT5 before, you know exactly what you are getting.

cTrader is the cleaner option. Better depth of market. Smoother chart interaction. Built-in algo trading. A lot of traders prefer it after comparing.

Direct FIX connectivity is there for bots but needs the VIP tier ($25,000 to open). TradingView is apparently in the works. That should round things out when it arrives.

Accounts and Pricing

Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard account. 1.0 pip spreads. No commission. Simple. Zero deposit requirement. Works for people who want simple pricing.

Edge account. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips average. Commission of $3.50 each way. All-in: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On majors, the actual interbank spread is often under 0.2 pips. Meaning your actual cost per trade can be under half a pip. That is hard to beat for a broker with $0 to start. Most brokers that have spreads this tight require a minimum deposit. This broker has no minimum.

VIP account. $25k to open. FIX API, execution under 20ms, tailored rates. Not for typical accounts. Ignore this one unless you move real size.

Execution Speed

The speed is where Tab Trade actually does something different. Equinix servers in London. Under 30ms on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. Those are proper execution targets. The average platform quote hundreds of milliseconds.

Should you care? If you scalp, absolutely. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is the difference between. If you trade higher timeframes, you will not notice. But the fact that the setup is serious. That signals something about priorities.

Combine those fill times with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and the overall offering holds up. Hardly anyone at this price point have infrastructure at this level.

Safety

Now, the detail that matters. TabTrade is regulated by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is tier-3. No ASIC. No fund protection scheme. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight is a problem for you, stop reading. Plenty of tier-1 alternatives out there.

But. The founder built his career at BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The execution setup is expensive. Fly-by-night platforms do not bother with tier-1 data centre access. This does not guarantee anything. It should be part of how you think about it.

What you are accepting: you trade regulatory safety. In exchange: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether that is worth it is your call.

The Bonus

Tab Trade offers a welcome bonus of up to $2,000. Typical deposit match. You put money in, the broker credit extra capital. Standard terms apply: minimum lots traded before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Check the terms before you commit.
